Last month, we told you why Chrome was the best browser for your laptop and now we’ve got further proof as to why it’s the ultimate browser for almost anything.

The latest infographic from Cloud Solutions looks at the journey and eventual success that Chrome has gone through over the last few years. Today, Chrome now has the largest share of users out of all the browsers – this includes desktop, mobile and tablet users. It has a whopping 42.74% share, with the closest rival being Internet Explorer falling well and truly behind at only 13.17%.

Google also has the most popular search engine alongside their notorious browser too. According to the latest data, Google was the most used search site with well over 89% of users preferring it instead of using the likes of Yahoo or Bing.

The more popular a browser is, the more attractive it becomes for hackers worldwide and whilst Chrome might have had its fair share of vulnerabilities throughout its time, it’s also got the fastest response to threats.

So the real question is, if you’re not using Chrome by now – why not?
