How you should keep Track of your SEO Rankings
Earlier today the guys from SEO Rank Monitor released a major update to their platform. Is that a big deal? Well, it kinda is.. As we all know, SEO is far from dead. Some people state it is, but we're all practicing it every single day - proving the opposite. In order to keep track of your progress (and to understand what works and doesn't work) tracking your SEO performances is crucial, and that's exactly what SEO Rank Monitor is focusing on.[post_ad]
The first thing that they ask when you've logged in, is to enter your website plus a bunch of keywords, so they can start tracking your rankings. A few hours later you'll have your first results - but it gets really interesting once you have a couple of days worth of statistics. This way you can easily compare any 2 dates and see how your ranking (our your competitors' ranking for that matter) got affected. Especially when you did something (like gathered new links and things like that) and want to see how it reflected on your rankings.
On the dashboard you'll also have an easy to understand overview of what's happening with your rankings. What are the top 10 biggest gains and losses for example? Your 10 most valuable rankings? It's all there - simple and easy.
So yes - if you want to get more insights on how you're site is ranking, I'd definitely recommend to give SEO Rank Monitor a go. They offer free trial accounts so you can try them out risk-free!
4 years of experience
They're not some "new kid on the block". SEO Rank Monitor was founded in 2009, giving them 4 years of experience in tracking rankings. Personally I haven't used them before, but looking at the features they're currently offering... I'd definitely recommend trying them out.Keeping track of mobile rankings
One of the features that I really like is the ability to track mobile rankings specifically. With over 2.1 billion mobile web users it’s something we simply can't ignore in our SEO strategy, so I'm glad to see they're taking that into account as well. This way we're able to see how our mobile rankings differ from our desktop rankings - super valuable insights!So.. is it worth it?
